PEAK PERFORMANCE BUOYANCY DIVER

Alongside airway control and body position, buoyancy control forms the three skills that define divers. You’ve seen buoyancy masters underwater… Gliding effortlessly, using less air and ascending, descending or hovering almost as if by thought. Those divers can easily observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. Through this course, you will achieve this too! The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level.

The course is done in one day, including the following parts:

  • Knowledge Development (online, independent study or in a classroom)

  • Theory sessions mixed with open water session

  • 2 Open Water Dives

Prerequisites:

  • Age 10 years or over

  • Open Water Diver or Open Water (Junior)

In recreational diving terms, enriched air (also known as nitrox or EANx) is breathing gas that contains a higher percentage of oxygen than regular air. Advantages of nitrox diving include longer dives and shorter surface intervals.

If you willing to keep growing as a diver, completing this course will help you understand concepts related with decompression theory and physiology, planning nitrox dives using dive tables or your own dive computer and procedures for obtaining and analysing enriched air.

The course is done in one day with two options:

  • Only Theory Knowledge Development (US$ 150)

  • Theory + Two EANx dives
