AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SUNSCREEN

Good quality sunscreen is hard to come by in Timor-Leste. Nevertheless, because we are located in a very pristine and healthy patch of ocean (and would like to do all we can to ensure it stays that way) we kindly ask our guests to use only reef-safe sunscreen, meaning the ones without Oxybenzone.

Oxybenzone has been linked to the bleaching of coral fragments and cells, damage and deformation of coral larvae and damage to coral DNA and its reproductive success, as well as Octinoxate. If you're super keen and would like to read more, here is a link with more information
